I spent about an hour today searching for pain relief information for spinal compression fractures... All I got was stupid surgery links.
This is getting really really old.
I just got an idea to end all ideas! I will put my spine up for auction on eBay!
I probably got about 4 hours of sleep last night, because my back and hands still hurt a lot. Because of that, I am a tad bit cranky today.
I was working on a PHP project earlier this morning, and just as I had finished typing the closing brackets for a long and complex function, the power went out. I didn't have a chance to save it, and it all went bye-bye. Because of my anger, I have forgotten what the function was for, and what the basic algorithm for it was.
I'm not going to write any more code today. Today is offically "Brain-Mush Day".
70? 80? 90?
Oh wait, I'm only 22. I wish someone would tell my back and my hands that. I woke up this morning in so much pain, it's crazy. I want to go back to sleep, but I hurt too bad to.
(22:03:03) Josh: Before I tell you the price (since you're going to spit your teeth out), there's one thing that I need to explain.
(22:03:54) Josh: This computer is obsolete. It was a month after I bought it. But I've still been capable of doing practically everything on it. I've had it for a good few years. A system like the one that I have designed would allow me to operate for another five or so years without having my computer become obsolete. Well worth the price, if you ask me.
(22:04:11) Tim: so what's the price?
(22:04:14) Josh: For the kind of stuff that I do, I'd never need a new computer.
(22:04:18) Josh: A little over $3k. :-(
(22:04:32) Tim: does that include a monitor and a stuffed pickle?
(22:04:44) Josh: Yes.
(22:04:47) Tim: pl
(22:04:47) Tim: er
(22:04:48) Tim: ok
(22:05:00) Tim: i was gonna say.. for the tower only, that's a really steep price
(22:05:12) Tim: im assuming you're looking at a 19" flat panel
(22:05:27) Josh: Yeah... it's got all the hardware, a sweet tower, some custom mods, 19" UXGA CRT.
(22:05:52) Josh: The flat panel would've added another $200 or so.
(22:05:57) Tim: you do know that by the end of this year, the price will be about $1000 less, right?
(22:06:09) Josh: Yes... but $2k still isn't realistic.
(22:06:20) Tim: well, with the stuffed pickle, it is

I try to simplify, these thoughts that plague our minds
What is this mood we're in, we live like saints with sin
How much to dignify, the facts that come to light
We've lost the will to fight
At the top of the food chain we arrive (we arrive)
Are we destined to grow old
Are we really the right strain to survive (to survive)
We've got to redeem our souls, souls
Unable to comply, so eager to defy
The risk when you apply, it hurts when loved ones die
Where is the moment when, existence will depend
The test of now and then
(constant ending, no real mending)
If we keep on living like we are
There isnt a chance that we'll get very far
So much wasted, so much lost
Its out job to alter the terrible cost
We are the endangered species
We're running out of time
(Flaw - Endangered Species) Thanks to Mechanical_Messiah for introducing me to this band.
I got the alert for this watch at like 16:00 GMT -0500, and it expires at 03:00 GMT -0500.
So far, I've not seen anything except for some cool clouds. The wind that is blowing in on the frontside of the storm is kinda on the warm side. The SPC is saying that a new watch will most likely be issued because of new patterns from southern Michigan to southern Illinois.
Something weather-related. I'll probably do that tomorrow if I don't get killed by a tornado tonight. It's been a really active day for severe weather west of here, and it appears as thought it's all heading this way. I expect it to be here by about 9:00AM GMT -0500.
I put this off till the last minute... Stupid me...
I have to meet with the lady from the place I am doing the web site for to go over the contract tomorrow. I really doubt I'll be signing it tomorrow, but I would at least like to have my own stuff to put in it, just in case she doesn't cover it.
I didn't even pull this kind of crap with school... What's wrong with me?!
The date and time now show when it was all posted, and in the proper time zone.
It should be more like "Stupid Firefox..."
Turns out, all the problems I've been having are my browser. Sure, there were some really oddball characters in the themes and such, but I opened all the files up in Visual Studio .NET, and did a "Find and Replace" on all the open files, to get rid of those characters.
