Nothing like feeling like crap on the first day of the weekend.

My sinuses are packed full of crap, my throat hurts really bad, and my joints are all really sore.

That new USR modem I got is doing the same thing my other one did. I sent my ISP a snotty email, saying that I want them to make it work, because I know it is on their end. I have yet to hear from them.

My good old 56k ISA modem died! Like right after I got home, I powered my box up, and it wouldn't get past the grub boot screen. After I got that fixed, I was online for 5 minutes, and the connection just went to crap. I used Net Meeting to log in to my dialup server and see what was going on, and the modem was dead! I ran to Wal-Mart and got another one of those crap USR v.92 modems. The last one I had worked fine for about 10 minutes on each conection, then it would just die. It wouldn't disconnect... It just quit working.

Hopefully this one wont do the same thing. It is the same exact model after all...

some idiot at our school had a toster in their dorm and started a fire

now, ive never had a fire start in my toster at home thats WAY older than me, so how could someone be so dumb? it serves that idiot right that she cant come back to the dorms next year

After numerous emails saying "I can't write your code for you, but I can offer advice", this chick in my advanced C++ class keeps sending me emails saying "can you help me with lab 5?".

i was going to hook tim up with my old laptop for an assbustin price, but my parents feel that they should have it. they pulled that guilt trip "we've given to you for 19 years" so i now have to drive home this weekend and slap them. its really a pain, cause my dad doesnt even want to pay me for it, so i guess ill have to go through my mom and get her to cough up a few hundred for a laptop thats only a year old, TODAY

im not even asking that much either, just 300 to them, but i fear i may wear my hand out slapping them if they dont comply

I really wish v2 was done now... I know so many people who need a good CMS, but none really exist. LDU and Edge are probably the best, in that order, but they just aren't flexible enough. Right now, the biggest roadblock is me not being able to get the authentication system completed, and I don't know when I'll be able to get it done. I'm really hoping this weekend, because I would like to move to the forums next, and it will allow Josh to get the news script done. Ted did a couple banners for us, but I'm gonna have to get picky with them. I like the way the rocket he drew turned out in the below images after I tweaked it a little. It was purely by accident too.

I just spent the last hour or so helping Dustin with the new Noize site... I dunno if he wants the public to see it, otherwise I would post a link. He really needs SkuddCMS2.

Oh well though, technically they deserve the right to it before some dude that nobody has ever met.

Is it a bad thing when you knock on the door to your friend's room, which is where all your things are located and you will be staying for the week, and nobody answers, so you open the door and see a naked leg hanging out of the bed and 2 heads at the top of the bed? For me, that is when I closed the door and went to watch TV instead.
