I've been beating my head against the wall for the last couple of weeks, trying to figure out what the title of this one movie is. I don't really remember a lot of details about the movie, but I'll do my best:

• It takes place in Africa (or maybe Thailand?) somewhere
• The guy stays at a hotel across from a bar
• The air conditioner in his room doesn't work and the tennant puts off repairing it
• The bartender is that big french guy with the huge nose
• The guy runs into some young guy who is willing to drive him around while he's there
• The guy is there on mob business or something like that, and is trying to find some other guy who owes him a lot of money
• The other guy stages his own kidnapping and death
