Okay, I know a couple people advised me not to purchase this particular model. The deal and the specs I got on it were enough to offset the heat issue, though...

My federal tax refund was spent tonight on a Dell Inspiron 1300 (A.K.A. b130). The system has a 15.4" widescreen display, 1.4GHz Celeron-M, 1GB DDR, 60GB hard drive, 802.11b/g, 56k, 100Mbps, Windows XP Home and a free 1 month subscription to AOL (yay!).

So yeah... I'm going to have a brand spankin' new laptop sometime around the first part of next month. I'm excited.
