So this afternoon, I helped Dad change the water pump on the Blazer. I figured it would have been a painstaking process, but it went relatively smooth. (I won't mention the whole part about boiling the radiator...)

Anyhow, when we got done, I offered to buy supper, and I called home to gather Mom's opinion on what to get. I suggested pizza or tacos, and she said she'd rather have tacos. I went to Taco Bell and stood in line for about 2 minutes, when I heard the girl behind the counter say, "We're all out of beef..."

Straight away, I went back to my truck and called Pizza Hut, placed my order, and asked how long it would be for it to be ready. The girl I talked to said she had no idea, so I asked her if 20 minutes would be sufficient, to which she agreed.

From there, I went over to Wal-Mart to kill some time and see about spending some money on something. I walked in and browsed through their puny electronics section, then over to automotive, and back over to sporting goods, which is where I finally picked up something to purchase (a padded case for my rifle).

I headed up to the checkout lanes, and every one of them had a line of 10+ customers. Finally, they announced that lane #3 was opening, and I was right there, so I attempted to walk over to the register. Someone else found it necessary to be in front of me, cut me off, and threw all their stuff on the conveyer belt. Someone else attempted the same thing, with a full cart of goods to purchase, noticed that I had only one thing, and suggested that I go ahead of them.

After finally making out of that Hell-hole, I went on over to Pizza Hut to pick up my order. I got informed that it would be 5 minutes, but I was more than welcome to pay. I paid, waited about 20 minutes, then finally got my food.

Driving home, I noticed that everyone who was open tonight was very busy. Why? I have no idea. I do know that people are being very stupid tonight, though.
