So today I went with Mom and Dad to the old church we went to, to see the former assistant pastor and his family while they were back in the states from England, and I saw a lot of people there that I've not seen in over 3 years. A lot of the people are still the same, others have changed, but one thing is for certain...

There has always been an atmosphere at that church. It's like people are put up on a pedestal, because of their education level, their community status, or how much money they have. It bothers me a great deal. I figured that after going through 3 senior pastors and 2 associate pastors, they would have changed, but I guess I was wrong.

Mom wanted me to go to church tomorrow morning to listen to this guy preach, since they're only here for a short period of time, but I don't think that I would be able to focus on the message due to the overwhelming sense of arrogance and pride in that place.
