So I went to lunch with Mom and Dad today, somewhat against my will. While we were there, my phone rang. I knew who it was, so I let it go to my voice mail. After a few minutes passed, I decided to check my voice mail and see what the message was. The person that called didn't leave a message, so I hung up within the first 5 seconds of the call.

Just a little bit ago, I pulled my phone out of my pocked to check the time, and it said I had a zero balance! WTF?!?!?!

I immidiately jumped on Virgin Mobile's site and filed a complaint, and within 30 minutes I got a response:

Once in a while these will show up, they are caused by the tower not receiving the message from the phone that the call has ended (when you press the end key). The call charged a total of $43.40. Don't worry, we will get this fixed for you. Due to the amount of the charge, it can take 2-3 days for the balance to be reapplied to your account. This is just because a Supervisor will need to review the call. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will resolve this issue. Thank you for writing.
