I hate myself. I'm so paranoid, and it's starting to affect my life.

I just looked out the window and saw a red light just on the other side of the trees. I cautiously looked around my curtain to see what it was, and it looked like a laser pointer. I slowly ducked back away from the window and held my hand up to see if it was a laser pointer, maybe a laser sight for a gun or something. Turns out, it was just the brake lights of my neighbor's car.

Last night I had to close my other window because I constantly felt like someone was standing there watching me.

I'm such a friggin' basket case.
