A friend let me borrow their copy of this movie, and I just watched it. Before he let me take it, he said, "This is not a 'sit down and relax' movie. Don't watch it with that intent."

Well, I just watched it after a very long day, and I have a very different review:

It was not good. It was not bad. It was not marginal. I have one word that really doesn't even come close to covering the movie: wow.

3. graphic
4. inspiring (watching a character development, not the initial nazi propaganda stuff)
5. well acted
6. well done overall
7. interesting concept
8. realistic
i could really go on all day.

It ranks up there as one of my favourite's. Other than Fight Club its Edward Norton's best movie.
