I think I had probably call the nurses station and get the real scoop. He's hell-bent on getting out of there as soon as possible, and I don't want to have to pay a hefty parking garage fee just to find out he misunderstood them!

Surprise surprise. She called me last night and said the doctors said he'd probably come home today. I said, "I thought you said they were keeping him until Wednesday or Thursday." She said, "Well, that's what I thought they said..."
It concerns me that she's the only source of information between the doctors and us. And between Dad and the doctors, for that matter.

No doctor is going to send him on to Wisconsin without at least SOME warning and preparation.

No kidding. She's probably even more nervous than Dad is. I thought he was only supposed to stay for two days or something. And she's making all these other arrangements "in case they decide to keep him for another week or send him up to Wisconsin."
